Spike Adopted!

6/6/2013

You never know!  Just out of the blue Debbie called and said she had tried to adopt a found dog, but discovered that it had been micro-chipped.

Great for that dog, the family was eventually found and the dog returned.

Luckier for our Spike, this reminded Debbie that she had met Spike several times in the past, so she called to see if he was still available.

Spike was here, he had come back to us due to a divorce.  Wonder if people boot the kids too?

Anyway, best of best and all things are for the best right?  Spike now lives with Debbie & Dick.

First night, Dick moved over in his bed and in hopped Spike.

With these people and Spikes new pack of Quincy, Gus & Cleo this time it will be happily ever after for this very deserving little guy.

Oh, and even better, Spike will be receiving a new name to go along with his new family, so everything is extra special swell!

    Duke

Duke has been the reason for the season all along.  In 1992, we rescued a darling puppy from a barn situation who grew up to be the greatest trial and love of our lives.

He was involved when we built our kennels, he was involved when his mom became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer.

He was involved when GreenePets Foster Network was formed.

He is severely missed, and this blog is dedicated to him.
