Help Us Spay Greene County!

Spay and neuter programs address a certain number of animals in our county each year.

However, these programs are only available to the underprivileged.  Meaning that to utilize the services, you have to prove that you are low income, and receiving some type of government assistance.

This leaves out a great part of your population.  Those who do not qualify for assistance, and are actually struggling harder because of that.

The numbers for assistance are insane, and they haven't been updated for years.

We have hundreds of families in our community who are just squeaking by, and loosing ground on a weekly basis.

SPAY GREENE COUNTY CAMPAIGN

The monies donated to this campaign will only be used to spay dogs at this time.

This does not include any neuter, because I personally feel as a kennel owner an a trainer that the funds expended to neuter peoples pets is wasted.  There is nothing worse to try to live with than an un neutered dog who is marking all over the place.  The smell alone is horrendous.

So for several years now, I have wished that all available funds go to spay only to get a handle on the situation.  The female carries the pups, so the female is the problem that needs addressed first.
