Peaceable Paws Level 1 Intern Academy with Pat Miller
Duration: 6 days: Monday through Saturday

An intensive, internationally-acclaimed 6-day academy on basic dog behavior and training – a solid foundation for your ongoing education as a dog training and behavior professional, and the first step toward your Pat Miller Trainer Certification. Small class sizes allow for one-on-one attention.
Graduates come away with a thorough understanding of the basics of how dogs think and learn, as well as hands on experience training a shelter dog. Expand your knowledge of canine behavior; improve your training skills; discuss the challenges and gratifications of the training and behavior profession; develop relationships with peers to add to your trainer network.

Pat Miller, CPDT-KA, CDBC, is owner of Peaceable Paws, Director of the Peaceable Paws Academies, and an internationally acclaimed trainer and seminar speaker, training editor for the Whole Dog Journal, and award-winning author of five books on dog training and behavior. She launched Peaceable Paws in Monterey, California in 1996 and has been at the Maryland 80-acre campus since 2004.
